The best beach in the UK has been revealed and looks like Italy

Located only a four hour drive from London is home to the best beach in the UK. And judging by the photos, it's no suprise why it's been voted as the best!


The beach itself is home to rystal clear blue waters and tiny pebbles; perfect for all you wild swimming fans and also those who like to kayak and paddleboard.


There are also plenty of facilities available so everything is all in one place, such as changing rooms, showers, and a beachside cafe serving up delicious food and drinks.

Known travel page Conde Nast Traveller have described this beach beauty as almost reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast. Good news too, the beach will soon be home to a takeaway with indoor seating set to open in April.


Whilst visitors wait, they can enjoy delicious locally roasted coffee, as well as pies and pastries from the Blackpool Sands Beach Stack.


To reach this beach, you will need to jump on a Great Western Rail train from London Paddington to Totnes, which will take around four hours. From here, you can take a bus ride to Townstal Crescent, and then another bus to Blackpool Sands.



For those still wondering, the best beach in the UK has been revealed as Blackpool Sands. And before you ask, no this beach isn't actually in Blackpool, it's in Devon!


Located in North Devon, Blackpool Sands is hidden amongst a sheltered bay circled by cliffs, which make it a favourite spot for sunbathers and swimmers!


For those wanting to drive to this beach, you can take the M4 to Bath and then the M5 straight down to Blackpool Sands.
