Shocking moment thousands of tons of rocks crash down onto beach in the UK

This is the shocking moment where thousands of tons of rocks crashed down onto a beach filled with holidaymakers in Devon!

The dramatic cliff fall threw up a large cloud of dust, resulting in beachgoers to run into the sea in order to escape the landslip.

Families with little ones had been enjoying a relaxing day sunbathing on the shoreline close by when the cliff collapsed, but luckily no-one was injured.

Prior to the terrifying incident which took place last Saturday, there had been warning signs already put up at Jacob's Ladder Beach.

This came after an almost identical landslip which happened at the same exact beach last October.

The cliffs around the Sidmouth area have been warned as posing a 'real danger' due to their crumbling nature; and it's no surprise why!

In Dorset, an incident similar to this one occurred in July when hundreds of rocks and soil slipped from a 200ft cliff.
